A while ago Dutch filmmaker Harvey Kadijk and I talked about merging our arts one day. In 2015 I wrote that idea into existence when Harvey asked me to work with him on a short movie. Now our work is here! ‘The thing is’ is a poetry film about equality and will be premiered on Saturday March 5th during the The Bliss Film Night at the Bijlmerparktheater in Amsterdam. Smita James in FOAM Museum Amsterdam

2016 I am ready for ya! #Houdjemonddichter asked me to join in on their collaboration with the FOAM Museum. Five other poets and I were asked to write about the current exhibition of Francesca Woodman (1958 – 1981). A photographer best known for her squared black and white pictures, mostly featuring herself. Who needs a selfystick?!

Due to this project I got to know about her work and it’s inspiring. I love her obscurity. The appealing nudity that, to me, in the first place is not particularly playing with sexuality. Her blurry concepts underlines her interaction with darkness in a calm, not so oppressive and very self-controlled way. I feel her journey of edgy self-expression. Dark without being creepy. LIKE!

Come check her out. Come check us out. Go out. Come! See you this Friday 5th of February at the Foam Museum Amsterrrrrrdam.

Thank you for visiting my website! I’m an Amsterdam based artist who finally took care of some basic info.

At this point I am working on two video’s. One video is for my Dutch poem “Ons lied”. A collaboration with new video talent Bet_Habits.

Filmmaker Harvey Kadijk asked me to collaborate with him on a short movie for the upcoming Dutch Fest Roze filmdagen 2016. The movie is based on my poem “The thing is”, a poem about equality especially written for this occasion.

I am so excited! Good things are on the way!
